Bridging The Gap Workshop
The Community School will host its annual Bridging the Gap Workshop on March 23, 2017. This day-long workshop encompasses several presentations to inform attendees of a variety of topics relevant to the autism community. Our 2017 presenters and topics are shown below. All current TCS families and any community members are welcome to attend this deeply informative and thought-provoking seminar. We hope to see you there!

DIR/Floortime Parent Program
This six hour parent course is an introduction to the Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-Based (DIR/Floortime) Model, developed for children with a wide range of developmental challenges including autism.

Floortime Atlanta Parent Support Group
Open to parents who are currently utilizing DIR®/Floortime™ within their family, this group is designed to be a place to share ideas and support and to network with other parents who are experiencing the journey of raising their exceptional children using DIR®/Floortime™.

For parents new to the DIR model, a two-hour overview that provides a basic understanding of the goals and strategies of the DIR approach.
